Anteater Toddler Assistant
AI Assistants
Challenge
Getting toddlers to follow bedtime and morning routines without a parent repeating instructions by hand every time. Generic timer apps lack character and engagement; rigid schedule apps are too inflexible for real family life.
What we built
We built a PWA around the Anton Anteater mascot. Short, character-voiced prompts play via TTS audio — the child hears a friendly voice, not a generic alarm. The parent has a private control surface for triggering routine steps, adjusting the schedule on the fly, and setting calm-down cues. The app is installable and works offline once cached.
Result
A PWA prototype that demonstrates mascot-led audio as the core product mechanic. The freeform schedule model is designed to be more practical than rigid clock-based systems — parents adapt the routine without rebuilding it from scratch each time.
